Joy isn’t reserved for perfect lives—it’s rooted in thankful hearts. Gratitude is the soil where joy grows. It doesn’t mean you ignore hardship. It means you choose to focus on goodness in the midst of it.
A grateful spirit opens the door to contentment. A complaining heart closes it. Gratitude is your superpower—it silences worry, repositions your focus, and lifts your countenance.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says give thanks in all things. Philippians 4:4 reminds us to rejoice always. Psalm 100:4 says enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Write the blessings. Speak the praise. Dance through disappointments. Gratitude doesn’t change your situation—it changes how you show up in it.
